OriMar Bikes is a small, owner-run cycling business based in Pilar de la Horadada, providing premium carbon road bike hire across the Orihuela Costa, Mar Menor coastline and La Manga Club.
Our story in Spain began in October 2018 when we purchased the established Murcia Bike Hire operation. We have since invested continuously in the fleet, booking systems, workshop standards, route knowledge and the way we organise deliveries and collections.
From Murcia Bike Hire to OriMar Bikes
Murcia Bike Hire remains an important part of our history and continues as our regional cycling information website. OriMar Bikes is now the primary operating brand responsible for all current bookings, bikes, customer support and delivery services.
The change gives customers one clear place for current information while allowing the Murcia Bike Hire website to retain the regional guides, historic content and authority built over many years.
A controlled, coastal-focused service
We have deliberately refined our service area rather than trying to cover every possible destination. Our standard delivery zone extends no more than 50 km from our base and focuses on the locations where we can provide a dependable, well-timed service.
That includes the Orihuela Costa, the Mar Menor coastline and La Manga Club. We do not provide airport deliveries, and bookings do not start or end on Sundays.
Equipment and preparation
Every rental bike is cleaned, inspected and professionally serviced before delivery. The setup information supplied during booking allows us to prepare the correct frame size, saddle height and requested accessories before we arrive.
Our aim is simple: the bike should feel trustworthy from the first kilometre.

Cycling-holiday support without package restrictions
We help individuals, couples, clubs and small groups plan cycling stays across the coast. Accommodation is always booked and paid for directly with the hotel or property. OriMar Bikes supplies the bikes, route support and practical local advice.
This referral approach keeps arrangements transparent and gives customers control over their travel and accommodation choices.
