Thinking of cycling in the Murcia and Alicante, then why not treat yourself to one of our new BMC Teammachine SLR. As a leading provider of bike hire and cycling holidays, it’s a priority to continually update and improve our carbon road bike fleet.
For the 2026 season we will be continuing to offer the BMC Teammachine SLR carbon road bikes that is perfectly suited to the Murcia and Alicante road cycling terrain. The offers a great frameset and an excellent Shimano 105 Di2 with 12 speed, which in our view is the perfect recipe for making many happy cycling memories!

What types of bikes do you provide?
We specialise in high-end carbon road bikes only. Our fleet includes the Focus Izalco Max 8.9 and the BMC Teammachine SLR Five, both fitted with compact gearing (50/34T with 11–34 cassette) and 28 mm tyres—perfect for Murcia’s smooth tarmac and climbs.
How do I choose the right bike size?
Bike sizing: Choose the frame size you normally ride. To help you decide, every bike listing includes a detailed geometry chart and height guidance.
Please note that our bikes use factory-standard crank and stem lengths, and these cannot be altered.
If you’re uncertain about which size to book, reach out to us via chat or email before completing your reservation. Once a booking is made, we cannot guarantee that a different size will be available for the same dates.
Can I use my own pedals or saddle?
Yes. Simply bring them along and we will fit them at delivery free of charge as we carry essential tools on our delivery vehicle. All bikes include a GPS mount for Garmin or Wahoo.
Is a helmet included?
Helmet is not included but the wearing of a helmet is mandatory in Spain. You can bring your own, or we can supply one for €10 per week if requested when booking. All bikes include a GPS mount for Garmin or Wahoo.
Can I hire a road bike for use in competitions/ organised road races, time trials or triathlons?
No. Use of our bikes in competitions/ organised road races, triathlons, or time trials is strictly prohibited.
Do you deliver and collect bikes?
Yes, our team provides a delivery and collection service across the Murcia and Alicante provinces. Delivery costs vary depending on postcode, and times are confirmed once your booking is scheduled.
Our team works Monday to Saturday to ensure all bikes are fully prepared, serviced, and delivered to and collected from your holiday accommodation within the agreed time slot confirmed following your booking.
Please note: bike hire periods can include Sundays, but cannot start or end on a Sunday. Please ensure you have arrived in time for delivery no later than 4:30 pm.
This approach allows us to maintain our high service standards while giving our team valuable family and rest time. We appreciate your understanding and recommend planning your hire dates accordingly. Sunday rides are still encouraged — just ensure you are available to hand the bike back the following day during our normal business hours.
OriMar Bikes operate as a delivery-based service only. All bikes are delivered and collected by a member of our team — customers cannot collect or return bikes directly to our base.
What happens if I return the bike late?
If you are more than 1 hour late, a €25 fee applies. Beyond 24 hours, additional charges apply, including staff time and compensation for unavailability.
What is the security deposit (Pre-Authorisation)?
A Security deposit: €250 per bike is requested via the booking reminder email, using a secure link to complete a credit card pre-authorisation. The hold is released on satisfactory return of the bike, in accordance with the Rental Agreement. Customers are responsible for theft, loss, or damage beyond normal wear.
What is your cancellation policy?
• 60–22 days before hire → 50% of hire value • 22–15 days before hire → 75% of hire value • 14–0 days before hire → 100% of hire value Booking changes within 21 days incur a €20 administration fee.
