Rides Statistics
- Distance: 64.9 km
- Elevation Gain: 745 m
- Difficulty: Moderate–Challenging
- Estimated Time: 2 ½ – 4 hrs
- Start / Finish: Pinar de Campoverde (main roundabout by Avenida del Pino).
What to Expect
Leaving Campoverde’s tiled rooftops behind, you glide through aromatic pine forest before pitching gently upward towards the Rebate ridge. The gradient hovers around five percent—enough to warm the legs while olive-grove panoramas unfold below. Cresting the ridge reveals a quick descent onto vineyard-lined straights, then the road swings north and turquoise flashes appear through the trees: you’re skirting the vast Embalse de la Pedrera. A roller-coaster shoreline road hugs the reservoir for nearly ten kilometres, its punchy ramps spiking the heart rate as blue water twinkles beside you.
Turning south, the terrain levels into fast falso-llano where tail-winds are common; this is prime aero-bar territory if you’re chasing a PR. One last rise over the Pinar de Campoverde sierra tests whatever’s left in the tank before a sweeping descent drops you back into town, perfectly timed for a plaza cortado.
